Epilogue is able to operate partially due to donations from members and guests. Donations help fund hardware upgrades and keep Epilogue free of pop-ups and other forms of intrusive advertising.
The "Save Epilogue" campaign was an idea suggested by our members to help us raise the extra funds we need to rebuild our systems that are in serious need of upgrades.
Epilogue is a free service to artists and has a small operating budget, and this is a rather large and expensive undertaking, so we need your help to make it a success!
How will the funds be used?
All funds we receive during this drive will be used to rebuild our systems (both hardware and software). We are breaking this project into phases that will be accomplished as funds allow:
Phase 1 (complete!) in this process is to upgrade our underpowered hardware. We will begin moving to a new host (and new hardware!) towards the end of September 2006. We will be doubling our processing power, greatly increasing our storage capacity, and adding a more robust backup system.
Phase 2 (current) will focus on our programming and software issues.
Phase 3 will examine new ways to fund Epilogue.

Donation of funds - Good old fashioned cash! This is our biggest need at the moment and will do the most good. Use the donation button at the top of the page.

Why should you donate?
Your patronage of the arts, and the artists who make Epilogue their home, is an essential part of our continued existence.
Recently, we have incurred heavy costs in upgrading hardware and have had our hosting charges more than double to pay for all the additional traffic and artists we host.
Without the support of people like you, Epilogue cannot exist. Please consider giving a donation in the amount listed above, or perhaps you would generously like to become a lifetime Patron of the Arts by endowing us with a gift of $500 or more to support the community that brightens the world with the beautiful work these artists create.
